We’re Driven By Our Community!

Historic Poole Forge is a township park owned by Caernarvon Township and provides a gathering place in the community for both public and private events. We offer free environmental, educational and recreation programs and workshops for adults and children including a community day, children’s trout derby, plant swaps and historical tours.

Historic Poole Forge Park was created in 2005 by Caernarvon Township to serve as a public park and community center that provides a place for the community to gather together.

Please note that Security Cameras are in use at Poole Forge. We are open daily for hiking, dog walking, fishing, bicycling and picnicking. The playground behind the pavilion is always open from dawn to dusk.  We do not permit swimming or tubing in the creek in order to sustain and protect the fragile aquatic ecosystem.
